Lynda Blyth-Phillips & Jean Eve

Lynda Blyth-Phillips and Jean Eve are the authors of the Cheer Technique Cheerleading Syllabus and the Cheer Technique Stunt Diploma. Cheer Technique was launched in November 1998, and has been acknowledged as the concise yet comprehensive source for developing a Cheerleading programme.

Lynda Blyth-Phillips

After training at the Guildford School of Acting & Dance and graduating in 1984, Lynda Blyth-Phillips' career has taken her to many countries including Japan, Israel, and Greece. Lynda has danced with various troupes, which have included two of her own and has also worked as a Rex Grey showgirl touring England with Peter Jay's Circus. Up until recently Lynda has supplied the choreography and costumes for the "Minstrel Stars" (formerly the Black & White Minstrels) as well as dancing in the shows herself. She has also choreographed many musicals for local theatre groups; her credits include Cabaret, Guys & Dolls, Sweet Charity, Puss in Boots and Carousel. Lynda founded the Phillomena School of Dance in 1993 and formed the Pink Ladies Cheerleaders in 1998, who were the Senior Dance British Champions in the 2003 BCA Cheerleading Championships.
